These tips will help you get the most out of the battery in your tennis ball machine and will help to prolong its life. With proper care you should get over 2 years of use from your battery.
Stop playing before you completely drain the battery. Most machines will play for around 2 - 3 hours on a fully charged battery. Players will get more hours out of their battery if they use slower ball speeds with less spin.
If you want to play for longer periods we recommend buying additional batteries and having these charged and ready to go, or if you have power on or near the court you can upgrade to a hybrid power / battery module.
Charge the battery as soon as you have finished playing. Batteries don't like being left flat. Recharge the battery after each use if the reading is under 10 volts.
Don't leave your battery on the charger. Once the charge indicator light turns green you can switch off the charger and disconnect it from the machine.
Lead acid batteries must always be stored in a charged state. A topping charge should be applied every 6 months to prevent damaging the performance to your battery.
